Pick up your poo bags and bring along your pooch to explore the fabulous trails around the woods and moors
Meet at the Welcome Building, in Woodcroft car park at Longshaw Estate
Join Eastern Moors and Longshaw rangers for a guided walk perfect for your furry friends as we take in the best sights and sounds of spring.
We'll take you to some hidden corners you may not yet have discovered, and your canine companion is certain to love. Chat to our wardens about the work we do to protect this wonderful landscape, and what you can do to help protect it. And each dog will get a FREE goodybag to take home!
Please keep dogs on a lead of 2m or less throughout the walk, which will take place during bird nesting season in areas where livestock graze.
What to bring with you
Please come dressed appropriately for the weather, in warm clothes and waterproofs with spare layers in a bag with suncream or a woolly hat as necessary. Good, sturdy, waterproof boots with a deep tread and ankle support are recommended. No food or drink is provided, but if you wish you may bring your own.
