Adder emergence amble

A gentle stroll on Big Moor looking for adders as they emerge from their winter of hibernation. Our wardens will guide you in the best way to view this amazing but incredibly sensitive species its natural habitat, without disrupting the adders as they prepare for the year ahead. Find out why it is so important to protect these secretive reptiles.

Accessability: This will be a short, gentle walk over footpaths but will take in some uneven ground and some slopes. Please wear suitable hiking boots or similar, with a good grip and ankle support. Check the weather forecast and come dressed appropriately with spare layers.What's On
