Moorland mammals

As you explore the open moors look out for the magnificent red deer and racing hares. Badgers have made their home in some of the wooded corners of the estate and stoats are occasionally spotted charging around Barbrook Cottage. Water voles are hard to spot, but you may be lucky enough to hear the distinctive “plop” as they leap into the stream.
