Final places remain for stalls at the first ever Eastern Moors Autumn Festival!
13th September 2019
Each October, the Eastern Moors host a programme of events giving people the chance to get up close and personal with the annual spectacle of the red deer rut.
On Saturday 12th October, we’re going bigger and better than ever before with an Autumn Festival leading into this year’s bolving championships. We’re aiming to bring the local community together in an intimate event to celebrate this stunning season in the uplands. There will be local crafts people, artisanal food, games, activities and more!
Our line-up for the festival already includes everything from a pizza oven to a falconer, but we’re looking for a few more local people with skills or crafts that they would like to share with our community. If, for example, you practise a traditional nature based craft and would like to demonstrate it, or if you produce wonderful creations from natural materials that you’d like to sell, we’d like to hear from you. Imagine a mini farmers market meets country show – if you’d feel at home there, you could be the right fit for the Eastern Moors Autumn Festival!
There are only a small number of pitches left, so if you’d like to apply to be part of the celebration, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0114 2891543. Due to the small nature of this event, we cannot guarentee that everyone who applies will be given a pitch.
The event will be open to the public from 3pm-7.30pm (bolving championships from 5pm-7.30pm). Set up from 11am.
