Youth Ranger (11-18 years old)
Our cheery team of Youth Rangers meet one Sunday afternoon a month to help us with practical and ecological tasks on the Eastern Moors. This is an excellent opportunity for young people aged 11-18 years old to volunteer in a spectacular area of the Peak District. What better way to spend the weekend than meeting like minded wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts over toasted marshmallows?!
Volunteering is a great way to gain more experience for a CV, personal statement or take part in the John Muir Award. We get involved with all sorts of activities including Water Vole monitoring, stone walling, wild sleep outs and bracken bashing. If you are not quite old enough to join Youth Rangers but would like to get involved, why not take a look at our Junior Ranger programme?
